Tory Burch
After being hailed by Oprah as “the next big thing in fashion,” and after successfully launching her line in high-end department stores and opening her first three stores in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta, Tory Burch swept into Dallas in spring 2006 with a store in Highland Park Village. She retained Brynn Bagot Public Relations to handle public relations, media relations and her grand opening splash.
Nest Dallas
In 2005, entrepreneurs Heather and Scott Alexander became owners of Nest, a unique gifts and home accessories boutique that had been in Dallas for nearly a decade and recently relocated to University Park. Heather and Scott felt the original concept of the store was right and the foundation was set, but the store needed evaluation and tailoring to the new location’s demographic. Nearly seven years later, Nest is a top home décor destination that recently moved to Dallas’ McKinney Avenue and is situated among top retail stores including Design Within Reach, Forty Five Ten and Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams.
Three Architecture
From its founding in 1983, three architecture had established itself as one of the premier boutique architecture design firms in the hospitality and senior living industries. Three projects consistently rank at the top of Conde Nast Traveler’s Top 100 Hotels and Travel+Leisure’s World’s Best Hotels.
Cavalia
The U.S. premier of Cavalia, a thrilling equestrian spectacle created by Cirque de Soleil co-founder Normand Latourelle, was in Dallas in March 2006. Featuring 44 magnificent quarter horses and 34 acrobats, aerialists and riders performing on a 160-foot wide stage, the multimedia performance also included projections, special effects and live music, under North America’s largest touring tent – 26,264-square feet and rising nearly 10 stories high.
